OpenRouter API key setup
- Create or sign in at openrouter.ai.
- Generate a key in the Keys page.
- Paste the key into Use Civi and validate it before running AI parse or tailor.
- If validation fails, remove spaces and check OpenRouter balance/quota.
Common troubleshooting
- Shorten very long job descriptions when tailoring times out.
- Try Quick Parse if model calls are unstable.
- Use role-specific bullets with measurable outcomes for stronger ATS scores.
