Naukri resume format for software engineers

Use these as defaults for a software engineer resume you upload or attach on Naukri:
- Standard headings only: Summary, Experience, Skills, Education. Avoid creative labels (“Quest,” “Journey,” “Toolbox”).
- Plain text bullets. One achievement per line. No multi-column layouts, text-in-images, or heavy Canva designs — parsers often drop or garble them.
- No complex tables for core experience. If you need a skills list, use a simple comma-separated or bulleted Skills section.
- File for export: PDF from a clean layout when the employer asks for PDF; keep content selectable (text-based), not a screenshot-looking layout.
- Contact line: Name, phone, email, city/remote preference, LinkedIn URL if you use it. Skip photos and decorative icons in the body.

Keyword placement for software engineer JDs
Naukri recruiter filters often match exact tokens from the JD (e.g. “React.js”, “Node.js”, “Spring Boot”, “AWS”, “Kubernetes”). Format tip:
